Our Engineering Team in Italy is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer.
Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible since CVs will be reviewed and candidates selected on a rolling recruitment basis.
The successful candidates will develop a wide range of skills, with significant training and career possibilities.
Qualifications:
- +5 years’ of related experience in Engineering company;
- Fluency in Italian and English;
- Experience in the design environment with particular regard to geotechnical discipline;
- Knowledge of software for geotechnical design;
- Ability to produce and understand written reports without consistent revision ability to maintain good records of site-based activities;
- Ability to produce geotechnical and calculation reports and design sheets based on results and design activities;
- Motivation, initiative, and organizational skills to work effectively in a busy multi-disciplinary environment;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Flexibility to promptly respond to the changing demands of projects and programs;
- Good communication skills, both verbally and digitally;
- Reasonable flexibility and willingness to travel nationally to conduct site visits;
- Strong personal initiative, agility, and resourcefulness;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Engineering Degree
