Description:

As a Geotechnical Lab Technician, you will have the opportunity to use and grow your skills in an on-site, mobile lab environment in Sweden. Our employees contribute to large-scale, world-class projects involving design and construction for dam project development and mining operations. This role will provide you with excellent technical challenges and an opportunity to work closely with other talented professionals who are committed to delivering high quality engineering services to clients. This individual will be able to fly-in/fly-out from a European country to Sweden on a rotational basis for this ongoing, year-round project, or, alternatively be located onsite within Sweden.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Project Managers and on-site Engineers on requests to conduct geotechnical materials testing and reporting in an on-site lab facility
  • Conduct geotechnical index testing, including proctors, Particle Size Distributions (PSD) and Atterberg Limits testing as required
  • Assist with activities related to the operation and management of the on-site lab facility
  • Work in a dynamic company culture that supports career development
    If you possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field, and have 1 or more years of previous experience working in a lab environment for the geotechnical or other related industry, we want to hear from you!
    Length of contract (initially 1 year)
    Expected hours: 60 per week
    Additional pay: overtime over 40 hours, onsite allowance / Per diem while onsite.
