Job Purpose
Responsible for overseeing and performing activities related to the geotechnical analysis of pipeline systems and foundations and associated subsea equipment without supervision. Leading junior and intermediate engineers on analysis projects, interfacing with the client, verification of analysis results and technical report writing is required.
Job Description
- Ensures compliance with the design rules and procedures in force within TechnipFMC
- Maintain, develop and protect the group’s technical capability and know-how
- Design soil parameter interpretation from available geotechnical & geophysical data
- Site Investigation recommendations on type and quantity of tests required
- Geotechnical risk assessments and Trenching assessments
- Subsea Structure Foundation Design (gravity base, driven pile & suction pile) to ISO, DNVGL or API standards - foundation capacity and installation design
- Pipeline-Soil Interaction assessments to DNVGL F114
- Design and assessment of suction pile capacity and hammered pile capacity
- Utilize available software and software tools to perform analysis including but not limited to Finite Element Analysis, Spreadsheet Tools, etc.
You are meant for this job if:
- Completed Bachelor of Engineering
- Minimum of five to seven years’ experience in the oil and gas industry related to subsea geotechnics
- Registered with PEG-NL as a Professional Engineer
- Good communication and organization skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Good leadership abilities
