Description:
AS PART OF THE RESOURCING TEAM DEVELOPMENT FOR NATIONAL EXPRESS, AN OPPORTUNITY NOW EXISTS FOR A RECRUITER TO JOIN OUR RESOURCING FUNCTION.
Working as part of a fast paced environment, the ideal candidate would be responsible for providing a best in class end-to-end recruitment service for our volume recruitment needs. This role will assist in the delivery of the volume recruitment process for National Express UK divisions, ensuring that all recruitment standards of legislation and NX global/divisional standards are adhered to.
You will play an instrumental part in the candidate selection at all stages of application and interview, whilst sourcing suitable talent using all available recruitment tools as well as working with external suppliers. This role will form part of the Resourcing team, and will support recruitment events, assessment days and activity relating to volume recruitment and the broader People Team agenda, as required.
This role is an initial 6 month fixed term contract working full time hours, on a hybrid basis although you will be required to work 2 days per week at a company location within the West Midlands.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To support and administer the candidate attraction process including online advertising, social media and outsourcing, where applicable
- Manage own workload, re-prioritising when demand is high, maintaining focus on the requirements for volume recruitment
- Conduct assessments, interviews and other candidate selection related activities using the agreed recruitment process within agreed Service Level Agreements
- Complete all Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment records and reports accurately, and on time e.g. candidate/vacancy records, interview and assessment trackers
- Interpret and apply HR policies, employment legislation and GDPR legislation to ensure a consistent, best practice approach is adopted
Manage candidates on-boarding including offer negotiation and relevant checks, ensuring continuous engagement is maintained
Experience and knowledge required
Strong experience of recruiting front line roles and ideally experience of volume/mass recruitment
- Able to manage high volumes at any one time
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Ability to thrive in a role that demands a positive attitude, flexibility in approach and a real determination to succeed.
- Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
- Excellent written and presentation skills, confident in representing the brand at recruitment events
