Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Delivery & QA Manager in our Digital Commerce team, you will oversee the development and deployment of Browns Shoes’ online shopping solutions. You’ll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, leading agile teams, managing delivery processes, ensuring high-quality standards, and collaborating closely with product managers and stakeholders. Your role will ensure our e-commerce platform is user-friendly, secure, performant, and optimized for search engines, enhancing our competitive edge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Agile SDLC Ceremonies: Facilitate and manage agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinements, retrospectives, and demos to ensure an efficient and collaborative workflow.
  • Manage Backlog and Delivery Pipeline: Oversee backlog management, collaborate with the Product team to create and prioritize user stories, write technical specifications, prepare use cases, and maintain a smooth delivery pipeline.
  • Champion Continuous Delivery: Promote continuous delivery practices aligned with business objectives, ensuring consistent value delivery to customers.
  • Quality Assurance Integration: Integrate QA processes within the development lifecycle, focusing on quality from development to deployment.
  • Dashboarding and Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor development efforts, track progress, and identify areas for improvement in delivery velocity.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with business stakeholders, keeping them informed of sprint progress and involving them in key decision-making processes to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Technology Validation: Evaluate and validate new technology solutions, document existing applications and workflows, and identify areas for enhancement to support the platform’s scalability and performance.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Lead initiatives to identify inefficiencies in business processes, research and implement solutions to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
  • Technical Issue Resolution: Monitor applications, perform first-level technical troubleshooting, and collaborate with support teams to resolve more complex production issues promptly.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Coordinate and manage major incidents, documenting and analyzing resolutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Automated Testing Implementation: Implement and oversee automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage, ensuring robust and reliable software releases.
