Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director, Project Management Office (PMO), the Project Manager will complete our dynamic PMO team. This role requires someone with experience in fintech, ecommerce and/or financial institutions, with the ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously. You will act as a strategic project manager and contribute to the implementation of a consistent project management methodology across the organisation. Your main responsibilities will be to oversee a varied portfolio of projects in close collaboration with our business units and various stakeholders.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project management: Leading and managing a wide variety of projects (IT development, e-commerce, process optimisation), from initiation to completion.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with management, stakeholders and team members, acting as the main point of contact for all project related issues.
- Risk management: Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, ensuring that project outcomes are in line with strategic objectives.
- Project delivery: Ensuring the successful delivery of the project within the constraints of scope, time and budget; adapting to changing priorities and limited resources.
- Expert advice: Advising and guiding Business Unit project managers on best practice in project management.
- Process optimisation: Analysing and optimising existing workflows, integrating project management best practice to improve efficiency and results.
- Methodology implementation: Supporting the implementation of the appropriate project management methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.) throughout the organisation.
- Change management: Supporting change management efforts to establish a strong project management culture throughout the organisation.
