The Sony Global HR Platform Team is seeking an established Consultant in Buenos Aires, Argentina that is proactive, creative, and innovative to lead key initiatives and continuously increase value across Sony companies.
You will be responsible for not just driving consensus and provide direction but will be seen as a hands-on subject matter expert capable of delivering HR technology solutions required to solve complex business issues. Its expected that you should have a strong understanding of Workday, HR processes, and HRIS architecture, with the ability to demonstrate, explain, and design solutions to meet HR business requirements, and inspire future roadmaps.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the agile methodology and processes to implement solutions successfully
  • Design, configure, test, and implement client business requirements in Workday HCM module(s)
  • Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements
  • Assess actual client needs and propose recommendations and/or alternative solutions to meet client goals
  • Advise clients on best practices, recognize, and recommend process improvements, and implement system enhancements
  • Assist clients in testing Workday configuration, provide knowledge transfer to clients and develop documentation as applicable
  • Drive execution of roadmap items through initiative management process
  • Troubleshoot business processes, calculated fields, business logic, file loads and configuration
  • Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches to deploy solutions efficiently and effectively
  • Consult, execute, and prioritize conflicting demands on small to medium deliverables/projects across multiple, concurrent clients without supervision
  • Perform research on problems, identify the true cause, and present/implement corrective measures to the client. Seek opinions and feedback on alternative solutions from team members to solve client needs
  • Contribute to knowledge management repository through formal and informal avenues, such as sharing documented lessons learned, Q&A, documented deliverables, facilitation of knowledge sharing sessions, regularly posting best practices and knowledge sharing information to team(s)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS, or equivalent.
  • Experienced HRIS professional, with a minimum of 5 (five) years of progressive growth, demonstrating HR knowledge, self-management, and technical proficiency
  • Track record within the HRIS environment having developed a practical and deep knowledge of HRIS principles, designs and architectural techniques, not limited to one business or technological domain
  • Base level consulting skills e.g., presenting, participating in workshops, explaining functionality or solutions to guide stakeholders, etc.
  • Experience implementing complex, practical business solutions under competing deadlines and priorities
  • Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail
  • Ability to influence at all levels of organization and experience driving and implementing company-wide changes
  • Ability to lead global projects end to end with multiple stakeholders
  • Builds highly-effective relationship management and partnership building skills
  • Experience of working in working in more than one country and have good cross-cultural exposure
  • Ability to share and communicate ideas, both orally and in writing to executive staff, business sponsors and technical resources in clear, concise language
  • Proven expertise in Workday (ideally, including Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Time and Absence, Talent Management, Performance Management, Recruiting, Learning, PRISM, Reporting, Calculated Fields and integrations)
  • Proven experience demonstrating initiative and curiosity to build skills in other areas both within and outside of Workday
