Description:

If you are a motivated and aspiring independent practitioner who is committed to providing high quality, individualised patient care then this could be a great opportunity for you.
We are offering exciting opportunities for an enthusiastic Nurse Endoscopist to join our friendly team.
Our ideal candidate is a Nurse Endoscopist that is competent and has achieved JAG certification to carry out diagnostic and therapeutic UGI and LGI endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy).
Having competence in both modalities is desirable, however applications would be gratefully received from individuals who are not able to fulfil the
full person specification.
The post holder will be required to provide 4-6 endoscopy lists per week, which may include participation in screening initiatives and cover for vacant lists. Weekend working will be part of routine rotation.
You will also be expected to develop, lead and implement nurse-led practice, as required by the service. These can include, for example, capsule endoscopy, oesophageal physiology studies, abdominal paracentesis, breath testing, IBD/dyspepsia/HPB clinics.
The possibilities for service development are vast and these will be agreed with the successful applicant to find something that both suits the service and captivates the practitioner.

We pride ourselves on supporting our staff. We offer a wide range of training and development opportunities, as well as flexible working options
Along with supporting you to achieve your career goals we offer a generous pension scheme, unsocial hours payments (where applicable), 27 days annual leave on commencement (pro rata) and access to a range of NHS discounts. Our Staff Health and Wellbeing programme offer a variety of services
Our philosophy is that Time Matters to everyone. Across the Trust, we concentrate on improving the things we do and removing those which cause time delays for our staff and patients
We are investing in our commitment to Time Matters with a partnership with leading electronic patient record (EPR) supplier Epic. This digital transformation will bring what’s widely regarded as the world’s best EPR system to ESNEFT, transforming life in hospital for staff and patients
