POSITION SUMMARY
Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting an experienced GIS Specialist to support our highest-value technology implementation projects. This role is focused on delivering successful outcomes to our clients who seek innovation and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing geographic information systems (GIS) solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze spatial data, develop custom applications, and support GIS operations to meet business needs. - Proactively work with our Infrastructure/GIS team to assess opportunities, organize scoping calls and discoveries, document findings and architect solutions to develop proposals and statements of work.
- Administer multiple ArcGIS Enterprise Instances including licensing and user management
- Design, develop, deploy and maintain ArcGIS applications
- Manage, manipulate, and analyze spatial data in various formats. Create and maintain geospatial databases and ensure data integrity.
- Integrate GIS with other enterprise systems and data sources to create cohesive, functional solutions.
- Develop and customize GIS tools, scripts, and extensions to enhance system capabilities and streamline workflows.
- Create, update, and maintain digital maps, spatial models, and web-based GIS solutions.
- Provide technical support for GIS applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance of GIS systems.
- Work with project managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality GIS solutions.
- Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications for GIS projects and solutions.
- Keep abreast of the latest GIS technologies, tools, and best practices to recommend improvements and innovations.
