Assignment of tasks:

  • Development of new glass compositions for application in electronic applications, e.g. thick film pastes, resistor pastes, sealing glass, and dielectric materials
  • Defining project plans with time frames, milestones, and targets.
  • Recognizing optional challenges and developing appropriate solutions
  • Monitoring and evaluating patents and trends in the market
  • Selecting and testing new raw materials and processes
  • Adapting technical solutions to customer-specific requirements

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in glass science, materials science, inorganic chemistry or a similar technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in research and development of glass, glass-ceramics or ceramics
  • Glass analysis and validation with XRD, XRF, thermal analysis, hot stage microscopy and dilatometry
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills at all levels
  • Diligent protection of Vibrantz Technologies’ intellectual property
  • Actively implement Vibrantz Technologies’ safety and company culture
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team and work environment
  • Willingness to occasionally travel domestically and internationally
  • Good command of written and spoken English and German (Minimum B2 level).
