Description:

REQUESTED SKILLS

  • Secondary School completion is required
  • Valid Fork Lift License is required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Forklift Operator
  • Excellent Verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with Glass is an Asset
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

Experience:

Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial trucks (forklifts, reach trucks) to load and unload materials and product deliveries
  • Stacking/Staging materials in designated storage locations
  • Responding to production requested for material replenishment and delivering materials to assigned production departments
  • Work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Follow all established company policies regarding Health & Safety
  • Inspecting loads to insure they are safe to handle
  • Stacking pallets
  • Manually material handling as required
  • Dumping hoppers of material into designated waste bins
  • Completing daily equipment inspections on assigned lift trucks
  • Participating in inventory counts, cycle counts, material audits
