THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly motivated, confident individual to join our Markets team as an Account Coordinator.
This critical role on the Global Account Team of a large Banking Audit Client will ensure the continued delivery of exceptional client service to one of the firm’s most important accounts. As a member of the Business Development (BD) team you will work closely with the Business Development Executive and Global Account Manager to ensure the Global Account Team executes the vision and strategy and lives by the Account Philosophy.
The role requires significant interface with the Account Executive Board and other senior members of the account including multiple partners and a multidisciplinary account team.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Native (or fluent) English required with very strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills, ability to coordinate and drive multiple projects at a time
- Communications or marketing experience preferred, however not required
- Very proactive and detail-oriented nature
- Demonstrated success in large matrix organizations
- Ability to understand complex service offerings and client issues with strong analytical skills, business acumen and knowledge
- Exceptional relationship building / relationship management skills; ability to build trust and confidence with account teams
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft suite and Internet-based research
Responsibilities:
- Build deep knowledge of the account, specific clients in the portfolio, their strategies and business issues, the industry/sector in which they operate and internal offerings in order to be able to leverage the firms’ resources to bring all of what EY has to offer to our client
- Develop relationships with senior stakeholders within the Global Account Team; gaining recognition as a professional sparring partner and reliable team member working to support the execution of the account strategy
- Serve as the knowledge steward of the account and disseminate client information through a monthly round-up of new and noteworthy material
- Write and publish the bi-annual Client Service Report, based on gathering and summarizing input from the Global Account Leaders
- Work with the Business Development Executive in the execution of the Assessment of Service Quality (ASQ) program, including arranging and attending ASQ interviews with senior clients supporting of senior lead interviewers
- Bring creative and proactive solutions to continually innovate and refresh our BD service offering including the development and organization of the annual global account team meeting
- Manage a consolidated the client relationship map and strategic relationship overview
- Support the account on-boarding process for all new team members from partners to staff
- Take lead responsibility for a number of BD deliverables and account relationships
