About this opportunity
We are seeking a Global Account Manager, reporting to the VP Global Accounts, who is based in France, is responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth, leading the value selling team effort, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be the customer expert, deeply embedded in their organization, understanding their needs, and contributing to their success with Sandvik’s support.
As the Global Account Manager, you will assess Sandvik’s position with the customer, identify opportunities, and develop a winning strategy and action plan for the account teams to proactively offer valuable solutions.
You will act as an ambassador of Sandvik, ensuring quality communication, managing and building customer relationships, involving the internal Sandvik network, and fostering mutually beneficial business partnerships.
We are committed to finding the best fit for this role and are flexible in determining which region the successful candidate will oversee, based on their skills, experience, and interests. Frequent interactions and travel aboard will be required across countries and continents where this customer is active, with both local account teams and key customer contacts. While it is a full-time role, Sandvik recognizes the importance of flexible working options.
Areas of responsibility
- Develop and manage a detailed plan engaging with internal stakeholders to drive future business growth and co-create long-term value within the relationship;
- Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective engagement across all levels to ensure that identified value is captured;
- Ensure customer stakeholders understand the value delivered by Sandvik’s offerings and how it applies to their specific needs;
- Monitor performance against plan expectations and take decisive action to adjust as necessary.
Your profile
As an experienced business professional, you thrive in a globally dispersed team and stakeholder environment. You possess strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, constantly seeking innovative approaches to grow business and increase market share. Your track record includes successfully leading and developing teams to execute effective account management strategies. With exceptional communication skills and a multicultural understanding, you excel in fostering collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Your initiative, drive, and determination to set targets, achieve goals, and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction are key factors in the selection process. You can thrive in a matrix organization and are willing to travel as required.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential due to our international setting.
