Responsibilities:

  • You develop and execute a global carrier strategy and incentive program, ensuring alignment and execution across organizational levels.
  • You organize and lead global procurement events twice yearly, and negotiate global and regional rates and incentive agreements with carriers and suppliers.
  • You are responsible for ensuring cost optimisation for all airline and non-airline suppliers, implementing strategies to reduce costs while maintaining a high quality of service.You will be responsible for building and maintaining close relationships with airlines around the world to secure favourable market conditions and support customer and trade development objectives.
  • You continuously promote cost and service improvements at airlines through KPI-based quality management.o Conduct regular business reviews (monthly, quarterly, yearly) with core partners to evaluate performance and compliance.
  • You will monitor and optimise the performance of the main carriers, including freight control, to maximise incentive payments.o Define and maintain a carrier scorecard, and prepare monthly reporting packages on carrier statistics, space transparency, and quality KPIs.
  • You will manage and administer the Centralised Procurement Process (CSP) twice a year, including the procurement of new carriers
  • You support the sales department in customer acquisition and retention, if necessary
  • You act as a global escalation contact for procurement issues with forwarders
