Your Responsibilities
Global Analyst – Lockton Global Solutions West
The West Series of Lockton Companies is looking for an entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our growing Global Solutions team. Be a part of an exceptional company voted “Best Places to Work in Insurance” fifteen years running.
Lockton is currently seeking a Global Analyst in the Lockton Global Solutions Practice who will support the overall book of global clients for the practice. The Analyst is the most visible client-facing role and is responsible for living and delivering front-line service for global clients. They will build long-term, trusted relationships both internally and externally, supporting business growth. The Global Analyst should always adhere to Lockton’s cultural values, and treat fellow associates, clients and vendors with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on training and development, including developing coverage knowledge
  • Understanding and being able to leverage Lockton product lines and resources
  • Data management and analytics
  • Day-to-day service execution
  • Develops a strong understanding of clients’ businesses and uses the knowledge to successfully and professionally anticipate and address their needs
  • Works closely with Global Client Executives and Global Client Managers to deliver consistent client service
  • Assists with initial market entry and compliance analyses
  • Client and Lockton Global communication

Essential Competencies

  • Develop coverage knowledge of all lines of business
  • Ability to analyze exposures and identify risks, inconsistencies, and accuracy of reported data
  • Loss history analysis
  • Identify and request information required for market submissions, working with internal and external clients to secure and complete information
  • Support market negotiation and renewal proposal creation
  • Accountable for all post-bind service deliverables such as certificates, policy issuance, premium collection, schedule of insurance etc.
  • Post-binding deliverables and implementation, including overseeing the accuracy and reporting of local admitted policies and other global program tracking
  • Maintain account open items lists and various information management systems
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Knowledge of foreign language(s) and or experience working/traveling overseas a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to successfully present data
  • Focused on personal and team development with the ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed
  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel both domestically and abroad, as needed/requested
  • Legally able to work in the United States

This position may be eligible for annual discretionary bonus consideration.
