BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines
  • 2-4 years of software industry experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Hands on experience in one of the mainstream programming languages (Java, C++, python etc. and full Stack development) using object-oriented design techniques and best practices
  • Good RDBMS experience (Sybase or DB2 preferred - able to write SQL and analyze complex queries with multi-table joins and aggregate functions)
  • Hands-on experience working with Linux and basic scripting (Bash) is a must.
  • Strong work ethics, a sense of ownership and urgency
  • Strong team player, required to work extensively with other teams both locally and globallyExcellent communications skills and the ability to work with subject matter experts to extract critical business concepts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Data engineering projects experience.
  • Exposure to cloud databases.
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates).Experience with programming for extract transform load (ETL) operations and data analysis.
