Here you’ll find all the support, tools, and opportunities you need to grow, and your colleagues will be there to motivate and inspire you every step of the way.What are we looking for?As the Brand & Content Associate Director, you will be the steward of the Brand by developing a compelling positioning, craft our points of difference and create a messaging architecture to communicate with our core audience along the funnel.You will lead the development and execution of editorial and content strategies that elevate the brand’s presence across multiple channels (from paid media to owned properties). You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, ensuring consistency in messaging, and overseeing content initiatives that engage target audiences.This role requires a strategic thinker with proven experience in both content marketing and brand management, especially within consumer-facing environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, local countries and external partners to align content efforts with broader business objectives and ensure brand growth.Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop our brand positioning, points of difference and messaging architecture
- Develop and drive a cohesive editorial content strategy that supports brand goals.
- Lead the content team in planning, creating, and executing multi-channel editorial content (social, print, website, blog, DEM etc.) that enhances brand visibility and drives customer engagement.
- Ensure content aligns with overall marketing strategies, including product launches, customer engagement initiatives, and demand generation campaigns.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content that resonates with specific target audiences, balancing storytelling with business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., digital marketing, product, PR) to create integrated content campaigns that align with brand messaging.
- Manage external agencies, freelance writers, and content creators to produce on-brand materials and ensure deadlines are met.
- Brand Messaging & Storytelling:
- Ensure brand voice, tone, and messaging are consistent across all touchpoints, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Lead efforts in crafting brand stories that resonate with customers and stakeholders, leveraging insights from market research and customer behaviour.
- Maintain and evolve the brand’s content guidelines, ensuring they reflect the latest market trends and internal strategies.
- Performance Optimization & Analytics:
- Leverage analytics and performance metrics to track content effectiveness, adjusting strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to senior leadership, making recommendations for content optimization based on data-driven analysis.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure content supports lead generation, customer retention, and overall brand awareness.
- Work closely with PR and communications teams to ensure content efforts are aligned with broader media strategies.
- Lead content brainstorming sessions with internal stakeholders to generate new ideas and ensure creative alignment with business goals.
- Leadership & Team Development:
- Mentor and manage a team of content creators, editors, and strategists, providing guidance and feedback to foster professional growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including agencies, influencers, and content collaborators, to enhance content quality and reach.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in content marketing, brand strategy, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Proven experience in B2C environments, with a strong understanding of the differences in audience engagement and content strategies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple campaigns and deliverables simultaneously.
- Expertise in digital marketing and content distribution platforms (CMS, SEO, social media, video platforms).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- A creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and align content with business objectives.
- Experience managing and mentoring a team, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proven people management experience
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) and content management systems.
- Experience working with international teams or global brands.
- Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and emerging content formats (e.g., AR, VR, interactive content).
