As our Global Business Analyst, you will be responsible for driving key global processes and supporting core strategic projects by data gathering, analysis and building business cases. You will also support senior stakeholders as their sparring partners by delivering impactful insights and presentations. The role ensures high exposure and visibility both in ALK globally and locally.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Master’s degree in business, economics, or a related commercial field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience, preferably from a consulting agency or a role in strategy, commercial excellence, or business intelligence.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong IT skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerQuery.
- Data Tools: Experience with SAP BI, PowerBI, QlikSense, CRM, or other business intelligence tools is highly desirable.
- Analytical Expertise: Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, extract meaningful insights, and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Communication Skills: Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
As a Global Marketing Team member, you will be working closely with our headquarters organization, especially with Global Finance, Business Intelligence, IT teams, as well as local affiliates. More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Global Reporting Ownership: Lead the global reporting processes and tools, ensuring a streamlined and standardized approach to strategy and operations across affiliates. Foster transparency and alignment between global and local teams.
- Data Quality Assurance: Maintain and improve sustainable data quality across the organization, ensuring accurate and reliable data is available for decision-making.
- Reporting and Process Optimization: Continuously optimize, harmonize, and standardize reporting models and processes to align with evolving business needs.
- Market Insight and Analysis: Provide senior management with deep market insights and analysis to support data-driven decision-making, enabling strategic growth and operational efficiency.
