Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated Global Buyer who has first experience in indirect corporate buying and wants to step into a global role.
Location: Naas, Ireland.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, hybrid role with in-office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays plus one additional day.
As a Global Buyer you will be required to travel up to 10% (globally).
The Global buyer will act as a key partner to Kerry Group supporting the development and implementation of Global Category Strategies for indirect areas such as: ICT, QSHE, Professional Services and Travel & Meetings in order to ensure the effective sourcing and contracting of all aspects of the strategy. The role offers the chance to grow within a dynamic global environment, leveraging your buying expertise in indirect areas and helping shape our strategy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, support and coordinate global negotiations and selection processes for designated categories.
  • Support the development of global strategies for the same in conjunction with key stakeholders.
  • Partner with Regional and Global Functions and Regional Procurement to implement the strategies agreed.
  • Ensure the optimal contracting models are used for each Category to ensure required cost and service level targets are met.
  • Tender via Coupa, evaluate vendor quotations, and adopt the appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service ensuring that selected vendors can meet our requirements and Service Level Agreements now and in the foreseeable.
  • Identify innovation opportunities in this ever-evolving space.
