Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will develop, communicate- and implement IT category strategies with the aim to optimize IT solutions and total cost of ownership for SKF
  • You will lead teams in sourcing projects and renegotiations, capture requirements, evaluate suppliers and supplier markets, negotiate agreements, and implement.
  • You will handle the supplier relations globally with your suppliers and follow up supplier performance.
  • You will meet internal stakeholders from the SKF IT organizations as well as from other business functions to understand and document requirements for enabling sourcing, re-negotiations and management of commercial supplier relations.
  • You will meet stakeholders and your colleagues from IT purchasing every day and exchange ideas & issues.
  • Every day you will be part of developing- and supporting the SKF digitalization journey.

For this job you need to have the ability to drive strategic sourcing of IT solutions in a global corporate environment. We believe you have attained this ability either in a procurement role or by selling and/or delivering IT solutions in such environment. In addition to this, we expect you to:

  • Have a proven experience of achieving business results through collaboration in a global environment
  • Be an engaged negotiator with the ability to pick up and act on movements and trends affecting business
  • Have good communication skills (verbal and written) in English
  • Have a degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, IT or an equivalent working experience
  • Have excellent project management skills with a structured way of working
  • Have experience in IT Service Management, integrating IT suppliers in a multi-vendor supplier ecosystem in a global context
  • Have experience in understanding/reviewing and/or negotiating complex IT contracts and have excellent financial and analytical skill
