Description:
Join our Human Resources (HR) Procurement Team as a Global Category Manager, focusing on HR Digital and Technology related activities! This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to establish the HR Procurement digital strategy, working closely with IT Procurement, IT and the HR Digital Team. With the rapid growth of Artificial Intelligence across HR, you’ll be at the forefront of identifying and implementing groundbreaking solutions that enhance our employee experiences.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
As a Global Category Manager, you will develop and optimize category strategies, deriving long-term strategic plans for your agreed scope of spend area. You will work closely with stakeholders in the procurement network to ensure a fully integrated and customer-aligned AZ-wide category plan. Your role will also involve strategic relationship management, advising on IT related contracts and agreements, and developing, evaluating or leading internal and external relationships with suppliers and other cross-functional teams.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Degree level or equivalent qualifications
- Significant experience in IT and/or IT Procurement
- Project management, change management and people management skills
- Technical expertise across the whole lifecycle of Procurement activities
- Communication skills and ability to influence others
- Teamwork focused and relationship builder: Works well with others, across departments, levels and cultures
- Comfort with risk and ambiguous situations
- Intercultural awareness
- Proficiency in Procurement and other business-related systems, e.g. ERP, Ariba, Jaggaer, Coupa
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in HR Digital and Technology related services
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) Procurement, preferably in relation to HR Services
- Experience in either a global, regional or local category management role
- Experience of working in a sophisticated matrix organization
