WHO YOU ARE

  • Procurement Background: Your experience in managing complex procurement strategies at both global and local levels makes you a perfect fit for this role. Here’s what we’re looking for:
  • Telecoms Expertise: You have a solid background in the Telecoms industry with a deep understanding of procurement.
  • Results-driven: You thrive under pressure and have a history of delivering against challenging targets, working effectively with virtual teams in cross-cultural environments.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Your written and verbal communication skills are top-notch, and you’re confident presenting at the executive level.
  • Strategic Thinker: You’re not just about maintaining the status quo; you challenge current business thinking and find innovative ways to present requirements to suppliers, ensuring Vodafone’s advantage.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You excel at building and maintaining strong partnerships with senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment and driving collaborative success.
  • Education & Experience: A higher degree or proven experience in the field.
  • Language: Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities:

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role where your expertise will shape the future of global procurement? As our Global Procurement Manager, Leased Lines, you will be at the forefront of Vodafone’s strategy, driving impactful negotiations and leading high-stakes projects across multiple markets. This role isn’t just about managing procurement; it’s about leading with vision, influencing at the highest levels, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Take the reins on RFQs, negotiations, and contract finalizations, working closely with Legal and internal stakeholders to ensure Vodafone’s business needs are not just met, but exceeded.
  • Be a key player in executing Vodafone’s global strategy for leased lines, fixed-line access, and consumer line rentals. Your work will directly contribute to the development of the category’s supplier roadmap, ensuring strategic decisions that have a long-term impact.
  • Identify and capitalize on savings opportunities by enforcing category strategies and challenging the status quo. Your innovative thinking will lead to the creation of new commercial models and solutions that benefit Vodafone and our third-party customers.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with senior stakeholders and policy owners across Vodafone’s global network. Your ability to align objectives and maintain continuous engagement will be key to your success.
  • Work alongside our Senior Procurement Managers to drive performance improvements within your category, ensuring every opportunity for enhancement is seized.
  • Communicate at the Top Level: Utilize your exceptional communication skills to present and influence at the senior management level, making sure your strategic insights are heard and implemented.
  • Manage and ensure the adoption of best-in-class Supply Chain tools, processes, and standards, supporting the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Networks team and fostering a culture of excellence.
