Description:

We are hiring a Global Channel Lead, Search Engine to join our marketing team in Ireland, the UK or the US (remote option possible for candidates based in one of these countries).
The ResMed Global Marketing team orchestrates campaigns, programs, and experiences for a variety of external audiences. This role, our Global Channel Lead for Search Engine, will be focused on our search engine portfolio and its efficiency & efficacy on delivering holistic results for our Consumer, Provider, and Brand teams. This is a player-coach role that will lead several global search engine marketing specialists in our Digital Marketing team responsible for content SEO, technical SEO, authority-building, generative search experiences (Gemini, Perplexity, ChatGPT, etc.), digital agency management, KPI alignment and target setting, and more.
This role is best-fit for a marketing leader who is passionate about the evolution of search engine marketing and has a desire to architect the future of how ResMed approaches search engine optimization in an ever-changing landscape, particularly with a future-leaning focus on the generative search experience.
You will define the ResMed search engine strategy for our Consumer, Provider, and Brand teams by understanding our users, our products, and our platform. You will be integral in defining our agency and vendor stack, relevant channels & key partners, and be the day-to-day point of contact for senior-level Strategy and Activation colleagues within ResMed as it relates to ongoing search engine education, elevates the level of search engine conversations within the organization and during client meetings when search engine behavior and tactics are being discussed, and identifies new revenue growth opportunities.
You’ll be responsible for designing channel roadmaps that enhance capabilities around increasing brand awareness, perception, and driving search engine traffic through to owned digital properties. You will partner within Global Marketing with Consumer Marketing, Provider Marketing, Brand Marketing, Creative, MOPs, as well as your peers within Digital Marketing. Outside of Marketing, you’ll partner with Product, Revenue, and Privacy teams to deliver comprehensive and integrated media strategies that drive acquisition, education, engagement, and expansion of our relationships, and improving overall adoption.

Let’s talk about Responsibilities

  • Focus on the overall health and growth of the search engine channel portfolio, including quality content, technical, authority, and search generative experience.
  • Oversight of search engine strategy, individual campaign proposal development and meaningful post-project and post-campaign recaps.
  • Interface with Strategy and Activation teams to respond to communicate service offerings, and to identify and deliver new solutions in a collaborative fashion.
  • Build and Develop Testing Roadmaps to drive internal client success within Search Engine, particularly focusing on brand building & acquisition metrics.
  • Deliver clear story and vision driven by Analytical work, using numbers and data to clearly inform and dictate strategy.
  • Embrace and encourage a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosities.
  • Assist in the growth of specialist team members through regular 1:1 meetings, identifying technical and career development opportunities, being a sounding board for questions and mentor to share addressable media experiences and applications.
  • Lead regular knowledge share sessions to present and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance.
  • Bring executional knowledge of the Search Engine landscape (EEAT, keyword research, bidding strategy, backlinking initiatives, technical SEO, SGE) to the team and organization.
  • Ensure team operations and internal client deliverables are commensurate with their goals and strategic vision of the audience and line of business.
  • Maintain accountability for QA procedures across upcoming, live and ending campaigns.
  • Fiscally accountable to marketing leadership team for channel investment & return.
  • Continually make and implement recommendations for optimizing programs, and additional investment in time and money in line with strategic direction.
  • Work cross-functionally with leaders on product, marketing, sales, data science, and insights to unlock new growth opportunities.
  • Own and enhance programmatic KPIs and reporting cadence to drive data-based optimizations and inform stakeholders on overall media performance on monthly and quarterly basis.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in developing integrated DTC & B2B search strategies.
  • Technical experience to apply innovation to high-profile search engine campaign plans across digital channels and different region-specific engines.
  • Expertise in enterprise search engine research & optimization platforms and relevant vendors.
  • Provide constructive critiques to specialist teammates about campaign design, data applications, analytics, and measurement to exceed internal client objectives.
  • Familiar with web analytics tools, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics (or similar enterprise platforms).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge and interest in new and emerging healthcare technologies.
  • Prior agency-side or in-house agency experience is helpful.
