About the Job
Alfa Laval is a leading global provider of first-rate products in the areas of heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling. Our decanter centrifuges are renowned for their high performance in solid-liquid separation, delivering products of excellent quality and higher commercial value.
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Global Channel Sales Manager to join our team in Søborg in Denmark, or Lund or Tumba in Sweden.
This role is pivotal in driving our channel and online business within business unit Energy Separation. You will be a key player in transforming our sales approach to long-term strategic commercial engagements. In this role you will closely collaborate with our sales company, product experts, operations, marketing and portfolio managers, as well as within the channel and online team. Travel is expected to be 30-50 days per year internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key Account Management: Manage and grow our key account, driving sales and adding new accounts to our portfolio.
  • Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement a commercial strategy to support sales companies, transitioning from one-off project sales to repetitive, long-term business engagements.
  • Regional Responsibility: Support sales activities, ensuring alignment with our global strategy.
  • Business Planning: Create and execute a comprehensive business plan for ground engineering, defining strategic objectives and initiatives.

Who You Are
You are an energetic, diplomatic, and driven leader with a strong commercial acumen. You thrive in dynamic environments and are a proactive driver of business growth. You have a proven track record in building sustainable business relationships and have a strategic mindset. Your fluency in English and familiarity with ground engineering industry make you an ideal fit for this role.

What You Know:

  • Experience: More than 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Degree: A business, engineering or related degree
  • Skills: Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and sustain business relationships, experience with ground engineering industry as it relates to the treatment of water, knowledge of CRM systems, familiar with contracts and legal documentation
  • Attributes: Energetic, structured and a proactive driver of business growth
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience from Ground Engineering is an advantage as well as knowledge about decanter centrifuges and liquid-solid separation.
  • Language: Fluent in English
