QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in engineering, data science, financial science or another relevant field with excellent results.
- 5+ years’ experience in GHG accounting in a corporate context preferable with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) knowledge.
- Experience with maintaining an organized approach and handling large datasets while maintaining clarity and oversight.
- Knowledge of emerging GHG accounting frameworks and disclosure requirements including SBTi, CSRD and GHG protocol.
- Excellent collaborative and problem-solving skills, able to work across strategy, reporting and product supply, bringing clarity to complex challenges and find pragmatic solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions on a quarterly basis to internal and external reporting.
- Identify relevant data sources in the organization and ensure updated and harmonised data is used across the organisation.
- Improve scope 3 accounting methodologies and allocation of precise emissions factors to enable more accurate and harmonised scope 3 emissions.
- Develop strategy to collect scope 3 data from suppliers in close collaboration with procurement stakeholders.
- Coordination with internal stakeholders and communicate to changes to key stakeholders
