Description:
Develop, manage, and mentor the Global Direct to Consumer teams to deliver an outstanding consumer experience across all touchpoints, ensuring sustainable topline growth and profitability. This will be done alongside both current and prospective distribution partners. The Global Commercial Director, DTC, holds the responsibility of driving exceptional consumer experiences while fostering brand development and financial performance within the region, in alignment with the company’s broader objectives.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional with a strong background in Direct-to-Consumer business, particularly within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), fashion, sports, or outdoor industries. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience managing and growing DTC channels internationally, with a deep understanding of e-commerce, branded retail, and sales expansion. You should be an effective leader with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams, navigate complex distribution channels, and influence key stakeholders. This role requires an individual who is not only strategic and analytical but also highly focused on execution, accountability, and delivering measurable results.
- At least 5 years of DTC experience within e-commerce, digital marketing and branded retail
- Strong knowledge and expertise in e-commerce, branded retail, people management, and driving sales expansion
- A proactive “can do” attitude, focused on finding solutions, taking initiative, and maintaining a positive approach to challenges
- Proven experience in working with various distribution channels, understanding their dynamics and optimizing them for business growth

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Global DTC Director is responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive DTC strategy that drives revenue, profitability, and consumer acquisition across both online and brick-and-mortar channels. This role requires a mix of strategic foresight and hands-on execution, focusing on aligning DTC initiatives with the broader business objectives. The successful candidate will lead efforts to expand the global DTC footprint, optimize performance through data-driven insights, and foster strong internal and external relationships. The role also includes forecasting and targeting responsibilities, with an emphasis on actionable insights, inventory planning, and clear communication with key stakeholders. As a leader, the DTC Director will inspire teams, collaborate with regional directors, and maintain a culture of urgency and accountability to ensure business success.
- Develop and execute a DTC strategy to achieve revenue, profitability and consumer acquisition targets
- Identify and leverage growth opportunities using data-driven insights to optimize both online and offline DTC performance

- Manage sales forecasting and deliver accurate monthly forecasts to support demand planning and inventory management

- Drive DTC expansion by prioritizing high-potential markets and maximizing short-term gains
- Oversee global e-commerce strategy and execution, driving digital marketing and performance marketing efforts across traffic-generating channels to optimize customer acquisition and fuel growth in direct-to-consumer markets
- Foster a culture of accountability within the team, ensuring alignment on actions, goals, and performance outcomes
- Coach and develop team, emphasizing strategic thinking, proactive relationship management, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure DTC business needs are communicated and met
- Regularly report to leadership on business progress, future outlooks, and key performance metrics, aligning on priorities and next steps
