Responsibilities:

  • As the Global Commodity Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for strategically managing and optimizing the sourcing and procurement activities related to Electronic Manufacturing Services.
  • In your role as “Global Commodity Manager (m/f/d)” you will develop and implement global sourcing strategies and initiatives for electronic assemblies and components, ensuring alignment with the targets for cost productivity, quality and availability.
  • You will develop, align and implement commodity strategies in close collaboration with our five factories (virtually and on-site) and by leading cross-functional teams internationally.
  • Leveraging purchasing volume to maximize pooling opportunities is one of your core tasks as well as driving material productivity through effective procurement levers (eg. negotiation, cost transparency, e-auction, global value sourcing, second sourcing, standardization).
  • You are contributing to improving free cash flow by optimizing payment terms and negotiating efficient delivery models with suppliers.
  • While implementing best-in-class Supply Chain Management processes you keep focus on productivity, assets, quality, delivery reliability and innovation to pursue the targets of supply chain diversification and risk mitigation.
  • You frequently practice supply market intelligence to detect and observe commercial & technical trends and to mitigate risks, driving value for our business.
  • You will negotiate and execute various contracts with strategic suppliers, including but not limited to Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Purchasing Agreements, Direct Pricing Agreements and Logistics Agreements.
  • For new product development, you will be responsible for defining the supplier strategy, coordinating with the suppliers, cross-functions, and factories for a seamless and on-time to market implementation, from prototype to mass production.
