Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (TO NAME A FEW):
- Leading negotiation for the assigned portfolio of packaging categories.
- Utilizing cost models to validate commodity strategies and to understand significant cost drivers.
- Acquiring and maintaining understanding of technology trends, market forces, cost trends, and supplier technology road maps.
- Managing supply base by establishing and maintaining measurable performance metrics for all of procurement to ensure total cost, as well as mitigate price increases and find alternate supply base.
- Acting as project manager (developing, managing, and implementing) for cross functional teams to build stakeholder alignment (Technical, R&D, Sales & Marketing, Regional and local teams, etc.) to meet objectives.
- Contract management - reviewing to ensure specific requirements are present, appropriate review and signing authority is present.

Located in our Denver office, as our Global Commodity Manager - Packaging, you will be responsible for the planning, directing, and monitoring of all procurement activities so that the goods, materials, supplies, and services the organization buys meet its standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
- You’ll be working to establish and implement strategies for negotiating commodity supply agreements based on in-depth knowledge of foreign and domestic markets for optimum pricing and terms.
- This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be managing and leading efforts on cost savings initiatives in line with a profit plan and overall business objectives.
