Description:
Do you have what it takes to lead the communications function for a globally renowned luxury brand?
Join Bang & Olufsen in this newly created Communications Director position and create a new 360-degree Communications team, bringing together existing teams to form a cohesive and world-class luxury Communications function.
Key responsibilities
The Communications Director will oversee several critical areas, leading three distinct teams including PR, Brand Marketing and Social Media. Additionally, this new Director will be responsible for corporate communications.
Brand Planning team
Oversee the central hub for brand planning, creation of briefs, end-to-end launch and campaign management
Engage cross-functional to brief and engage key stakeholders in brand activities; including, product management, retail, strategy and regional teams.
Ownership of the brand calendar
Mentor and guide the team of three
Role of PR team
Define and implement a global comms strategy in annual planning, KPIs and reporting
Creation of global announcement releases, brand pitches, interview backgrounders etc.
Oversee global press guidance for launches, campaigns & product reviews
Facilitate comms with external partners and internal spokespersons
Facilitate global press events for key launch moments and guidance for local events and activations
Management of News Room
Mentor and guide the team of three
Role of Social Media team
Oversee the global content strategy for Social Media channels, as well as the content calendar
Creation and editing of social media optimized content
Define and implement global influencer strategy, guidelines & recruitment
Analytics: Drive & define the data & analytics, performance, processes, collection & reporting of Global & local social channels
Engage & preserve our online audiences
Global Ambassador activation & planning for Social Media
Collaboration with our global partnerships (Ferrari / AS Monaco / Collabs / Ambassadors) related to social activation
