JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Vice President level banker to join the Financial Institutions Group based in Sydney.
We are seeking a Vice President to join our Financial Institutions Group within Global Corporate Banking. This role involves working with a high-performing team that maintains some of the most mature client relationships in the organization, spanning sectors such as Banking, Specialty Finance, Payment Processing, Market Structure, Insurance, and Virtual Assets. You will manage relationships with large corporations, financial institutions, and public sector organizations worldwide, helping clients achieve their goals in financing, risk management, working capital, cash management, and investments. Our clients benefit from dedicated coverage by experienced corporate bankers who leverage JPMorgan Chase’s extensive product platform and global presence in over 60 countries.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience.
- Proven ability to lead a team of bankers across multiple lines of business.
- Strong skills in corporate finance, analysis, credit, and problem-solving.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and intelligent.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, credit, and other corporate and investment banking products.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS:
- Established network and experience banking large, preferably regulated, corporations.
- Experience selling or working with a broad range of corporate banking products.
- Experience in a product or functional area relevant to the role.

Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and manage client relationships.
- Develop strategic business plans for clients and maintain existing relationships.
- Conduct comprehensive client analyses to identify needs that can be addressed with JPMorgan’s wide range of banking products, including debt capital markets, risk management, treasury and securities services, and asset management.
- Collaborate with line of business partners, including Debt Capital Markets, Markets, Treasury Services, Investor Services, Asset Management, and Investment Bank Client Executives, to enhance client coverage.
- Manage a portfolio of products, including traditional credit products, debt, treasury services, ABS/Conduit, investor services, asset management, FX, derivatives, commodities, and certain flow sales and trading products.
- Lead account planning processes, focusing on the strategic use of credit capital and aligning with firm-wide priorities.
- Travel as required to meet with clients.
