Description:

You will be part of Vestas Service Supply Chain Organization, in our Global Distribution department. The department consist of a manager and 8 transport specialists and professionals. The team works across the Service Supply Chain organization with a focus on the optimization of transport solutions for the Service business.

QUALIFICATION

We believe that for you to be a good candidate, you possess some if not all of the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience from working with International Transport Solutions, Project Management, Transport Management or Management Consulting
  • Preferably you hold a master’s degree within Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or similar
  • Knowledge of or certification in Lean Six-Sigma
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills

Responsibilities:

In this position you will be working with the entirety of the Service Division’s transport flow both inbound and outbound. Therefore, you will touch upon many stakeholders and work in a diverse role where you will have influence on a lot of the ongoings - minor and major. As the team has built up a good creditability within Vestas and our key stakeholders, we hope that you can recognize yourself in the following criteria.

  • Create and advance strategic optimization projects and processes focusing on transportation/distribution
  • Drive transport cost reduction across the Service Supply Chain
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders ensuring operations run smoothly
  • Identify opportunities for improvements within the supply chain
  • Develop and implement robust systems to meet the established targets
