Salary Package: From $119,056 per annum (HEW 8), plus 17% employer’s superannuation

The Role
Macquarie University is recruiting for a new Global Education & Exchange Partner to support the design, optimisation and enhancement of international programs, including exchange, international WIL, study abroad, short tours, field schools, and more.
Reporting to the Manager, Experiential Education, this position focuses on enhancing and scaling global opportunities by building strong partnerships with a range of stakeholders. This includes providing support to Faculties, through Deputy Deans, Associate Deans, and Heads of Educational Services, and working closely with external stakeholders within and outside the University sector.
Additionally, you will strategically utilise emerging trends and data to best identify opportunities for Macquarie University to participate in international activities and enhance our program delivery capabilities on an international scale.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) is the Chief Academic Officer of the University and is the member of the University Executive with overall responsibility for the planning, quality and delivery of education provided to Macquarie’s undergraduate and graduate students.
The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) is responsible for the University’s educational endeavour across all aspects of the educational lifecycle, including pathways and access, curriculum and educational capability development, educational outcomes and graduate success, as well as the Macquarie University College. - A tertiary qualification in a relevant area that supports expertise in Global Education and Exchange
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in Global Education and Exchange, with a track record of contributing to the design and optimisation of programs and initiatives.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Proven ability to liaise with and provide advice and support to academic staff, including Deputy Deans Education and Employability, Associate Deans, Course Directors, and Unit Convenors.
- Proven ability to stay abreast of current trends, research, and best practices within the field, and apply findings to program development and optimisation efforts
