The main mission for Global Financial Controller will be to drive value creation and strategic decision-making across the One-OP organization through insightful analysis, transparent reporting, proactive financial planning and cross-functional collaboration empowering the One-OP team to achieve their strategic objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Finance or engineering degree, professional certification such as CMA, CIMA, CPA is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a significant portion in a shared services or corporate finance environment.
  • Proven track record of managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, French is a plus.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting tools, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Able to provide advice and support but also to challenge and provide an alert when things are not on track
  • Able to build relationships and work both cross-functionally and cross-regionally

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting
  • Ability to prioritize and stay focused in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Forecasting:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive financial plans and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
  • Oversee the preparation, monitoring, and management of budgets for various departments within the shared services unit, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations.

Process Improvement, Cost Control and Optimization:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Implement and monitor cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenditures.
  • Continuously monitor the financial environment and internal processes to detect emerging risks and adjust mitigation strategies accordingly.

One-OP Chargeback to the Businesses:

  • Develop and implement methodologies for accurately calculating chargebacks to the businesses utilizing One-OP, ensuring fairness and transparency.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of chargeback invoices to business units, ensuring timely and accurate billing

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various stakeholders, including function leads and the Business Groups, to ensure alignment and support for financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with the functions and Business Groups to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives, projects, and business cases.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and other decision support material as required by the VP One-OP
