JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager, Global Financial Services – North America is responsible for the Powertrain Accounts Receivable function in North America. The goal is to maximize cash flow, minimize credit risk, and drive process and efficiency enhancement throughout the region.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors in Business, Finance, or related Field; Master’s in Business is a plus

EXPERIENCE:

5 – 10 years experience of credit, collections and accounts receivable management experience

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong leadership, presentation, and personnel management skills with responsibility across multiple regions
  • Comfortable working with senior leadership and customers

  • Excellent English skills- written and verbal

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for $210 million in global accounts receivable and all aspects of the A/R process. Cash Application, Dispute Management, Credit & Collections, Reporting and Accounting/control with staff across multiple regions.
  • Manage the Powertrain/Performance Solutions North America team.
  • Ensure Tenneco global credit policy compliance.
  • Lead process and policy improvements to enhance A/R management efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Important escalation point and responsibility for reporting AR summarized activity to upper management in a professional manner
  • Ensure that teams and business units control past dues and maintain DSO at acceptable levels.
  • Contribute and support payment terms, credit limit, and other credit risks that are relative to the region.
  • Involvement in North America AR Budget
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance at local and management levels.
  • Provide reporting and guidance to senior leadership on credit, collections, and AR matters.
  • Development of team members
  • Coordination with Senior Manager. Ensure global consistency.
  • Regional travel as required.
