QUALIFICATIONS

• +2 years of Global Forwarding experience, preferably in ocean export
• Knowledge or coursework in Supply Chain or Logistics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Critical thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment

• Gain familiarity with international shipping processes, documentation, and terminology from purchase order issuance to cargo delivery
• Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adjust processes and devise solutions for internal and external challenges
• Coordinate shipment tasks to meet customer SOP requirements: obtaining booking approvals, processing pre-alerts, handling governmental filings, overseeing delivery, ensuring accurate invoicing, etc
• Collaborate with international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency, exceptional customer service, and innovative problem-solving.
• Forging strong relationships with customers, promptly responding and following up on issue resolution
• Provide support with reporting and documentation for internal and external customers
• Participate in customer business reviews
• Contribute to smooth forwarding operations across various regions, gaining exposure to diverse challenges and client needs
