JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
As Global Functions LEAN Leader you will be part of a global team responsible for the design, adoption, and execution of the LEAN transformation roadmap for the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics Integrated Supply Chain Business. The successful candidate will partner with Supply Chain business leaders primarily within the global functions (Procurement, Engineering & Transformation, Planning & Logistics). The Global Functions Lean Leader will have hands on experience of applying Lean principles and driving results through continuous improvement. This role is open to candidate who are currently based close to our production sites in either Eindhoven, Cork or Lindesnes.

Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in any technical or analytical domain with a preference for Supply Chain Management
- Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, food or related industries
- Experience leading large complex transformation in transactional environments (as opposed to manufacturing only)
- Proven successful application of Lean tools, for example Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, Problem Solving, , Visual Daily Management, Policy Deployment
- Willing to travel up to 30%, primarily within Europe
- Strong communication ability across all levels of the business and between all functions with the ability to grow cross functional relationships and to influence outside of immediate sphere of control.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Site and Supply Chain Leadership to support the delivery of business priorities using Lean.
- Support the execution of kaizens and Lean events to deliver on the Continuous Improvement roadmap.
- Identify major processes, key performance indicators (KPIs) and improvement opportunities.
- Establish and drive sustainment of Daily Management across the business partner’s processes.
- Responsible for driving Lean Maturity levels across the Value Stream as per the GE HC Lean Framework
- Development and deployment of a Kaizen funnel required to achieve objectives for the year and/or as part of a multi-year program.
- Develop Lean capabilities by training and coaching key team members to build Lean muscle within the organization, resulting in less reliance on the central lean team.
