Description:
What are my responsibilities?
- Global responsibility for the Industrial Engineering division as specified by the Chief Operations Officer (COO)
- Strategic orientation and systematic further development of the responsible area in cooperation with the plants worldwide
- Coordination and management of global project activities in Industrial Engineering
- Continuous improvement / automation / standardization of processes and IT as well as systems in the plants
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary global and local projects
- Further development of the interfaces of production facilities and the ERP system
- Global investment planning, taking into account efficiency, Group and strategic goals
- Further development of Industry 4.0 in all plants: Digitalization
- Regular reporting and preparation of decision papers to and for the COO
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Successfully completed university degree in engineering (specializing in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar)
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of industrial engineering in a manufacturing company with a global orientation
- deep knowledge and experience in the areas of automation, digitalization and project management
- Goal-oriented, resilient and assertive
- Quality-conscious and strong communication skills
- Very good knowledge of German and English (at least C1 level), other foreign languages are an advantage
