Description:

Job Profile:
The Global Head of Accounts Receivable (AR) will be responsible for overseeing the global AR function, ensuring efficient management of receivables, optimizing cash flow, and maintaining robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role is pivotal in driving global strategy, leading teams across different regions, and ensuring adherence to company policies, compliance, and best practices for timely collections.
Vista integrates a unique portfolio of companies offering asset-free services to cover all key aspects of business aviation: guaranteed and On Demand global flight coverage; aircraft leasing and finance; and cutting-edge aviation technology.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement a global AR strategy aligned with the company’s financial goals.
  • Oversee the regional AR teams (team size in excess of 60), fostering collaboration and efficiency across 6 global offices.
  • Accountable for developing and executing strategies that optimize cash flow and mitigate the risk associated with a complex and diverse receivables ledger
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvement strategies across global AR functions.

Operational Management:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the global AR team, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing to customers, monitoring AR aging reports and taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for AR processes globally, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
  • Works cross functionally with teams, Finance, and Customers to advocate for processes that provide a great customer experience while accelerating free cash flow.

Data & Reporting:

  • Provide regular reports on AR performance metrics to senior leadership, including insights into trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Track and analyze global AR performance and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Supports critical month-end financial close process with regards to revenue recognition.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed AR team through recruitment, training, and development initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the global AR team.
  • Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to AR managers and staff.

Performs any other tasks reasonably required to be undertaken in accordance with the instructions of the Reporting Manager.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in accounts receivable management, with at least 5 years in a global leadership role. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, etc.) and AR automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of global accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices in AR management.
  • Proven track record of leading large, cross-functional, and geographically dispersed teams.
  • You enjoy working in a highly pressured, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, keen to engage as required by a growing business.
  • Prior experience with luxury brand or exposure to HNWI clients highly beneficial and preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and global teams. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a results-oriented approach.
