Description:

Join our team at GF Building Flow Solutions, a division of GF, a leading global provider of sustainable and innovative solutions, making water flow in buildings. The division, stemming from the 2023 acquisition of Uponor by GF, provides safe solutions for hot and cold water supply and control, noise-reducing wastewater systems, as well as energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions and multipurpose applications. Its focus is to enable its customers in the residential and commercial space to be more productive and sustainable, while ensuring comfort, health and efficiency. GF Building Flow Solutions has sales companies in 30 countries and production sites in 13 locations across Europe and the Americas.
We are at a pivotal moment in our company’s journey, following the recent merger of GF and Uponor. This merger has opened up an exciting opportunity to shape and define our new global marketing and branding strategy linked to our offering divided into clear categories with unique value propositions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Global Central Marketing & Brand to lead these efforts and make a lasting impact on our global presence.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead Global Branding Strategy: Take the helm in developing and executing a cohesive global branding strategy that unites the strengths of GF and Uponor, positioning our merged entity as a leader in the industry.
  • Develop 360° Marketing Concepts: Create global marketing concepts linked to our defined product categories, product launches, key initiatives, and communication campaigns that resonate across diverse markets.
  • Align Marketing Materials Globally: Ensure that communication concepts are consistently reflected across all marketing materials, including videos, brochures, landing pages, etc., tailored to meet the needs of different regions.
  • Integrate Branding into Commercial Strategy: Embed the new branding strategy into our commercial approach, including Key Account Management (KAM), project sales, and field sales across global markets.
  • Oversee Global Branding and Co-branding Efforts: Manage visual identity and co-branding initiatives, ensuring consistent execution in collaboration with the GF Corporate Branding team.
  • Global Communication Management: Lead both internal and external communication efforts, supporting sustainability and strategy projects while serving as the key contact for trade journalists across geographies.
  • Content Calendar Management: Create and maintain a content calendar to be executed across multiple communication channels, ensuring global alignment and impact.
  • Measure impact: Secure that all marketing investments are clearly defined from an added value perspective closely monitoring performance.

What You Will Need:

  • Global Brand Management: Proven track record of building and managing global brands in an international environment, particularly within a matrix organization, delivering value to the company.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to track and analyze the competitive landscape across multiple markets, providing clear insights to inform the development of global marketing and communication strategies.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated leadership in building and inspiring global teams, aligning them to execute centrally developed assets.
  • Dynamic Leadership: A flexible, proactive leader capable of managing ambiguity and engaging diverse teams during times of significant change.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in business law, legal contracts, and understanding financial impacts related to inventory, cash flow, and working capital.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a global context.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and deliver results at both a regional and global level.
