Responsibilities:

As the Global Head of Healthcare Social Media, you will develop and lead social media and digital strategies that position our Healthcare business as a leader in the Pharmaceutical industry. Reporting to the Head of Healthcare Communications, you will create integrated social media strategies that enhance engagement, awareness, advocacy, and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy
  • Develop and oversee a global Healthcare social media strategy aligned with business priorities. Define KPIs to ensure effective reach and impact. Contribute to content creation across various social media channels. Create tailored strategies for executive profiles and partner with Executive Communications. Drive external positioning on key topics such as access to health and scientific advancements. Collaborate with country teams to support local strategies and leverage content globally. Maintain an editorial calendar informed by analytics.
  • Leadership & Innovation
  • Advocate for innovative ideas and pilot new strategies globally. Manage updates to tools and policies. Support market teams with social media strategies, including new channel creation.
  • Execution
  • Identify key audiences and collaborate on relevant content. Establish partnerships with social media platforms and develop specific content. Manage legal, regulatory, and medical reviews of social media content. Monitor social media channels for issues and support crisis management. Analyze performance data to educate stakeholders on audience behavior.
  • Team & Agency Management
  • Lead a team of social media healthcare communicators, with a focus on strong social media/digital strategy expertise and competency; ensure agility and flexibility of team based on business needs. Oversee agency management, including budget tracking and collaboration to deliver highest quality work.
