ResMed’s Global Creative team functions as a full-service in-house agency that drives growth for the business. We deliver world-class, award-winning storytelling and creative solutions that build awareness around, and demand for, ResMed’s offerings. We are assembling a team of top talent to build an in-house model that supports global-to-local campaign execution through a geographically distributed team enabled by emerging technologies and “follow the sun” operations. Our transformation journey is being driven by thoughtful, highly collaborative talent intent on applying design to achieving business objectives.
We’re looking for a Global Localization Manager to oversee our global localization efforts to include managing creative transcreation and production partners; serving as a subject matter expert with our internal creative project managers and design team throughout the creative process; and liaising with regional marketing team members to ensure assets are delivered and utilized to plan. Your ability and desire to engage with stakeholders across the globe to ensure every global campaign supported by our Global Creative team meets the needs of each regional locale will be vital to success in this role.
While we are open to hybrid, remote, or onsite arrangements for this role, we are seeking a candidate located near either our Dublin, Ireland or Halifax, Nova Scotia office locations.
LET’S TALK ABOUT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of professional experience in managing localization, transcreation, adaptation and translation processes for Marketing
- Experience in defining and documenting process, preferably around localization
- Ability to work well under pressure and flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations.
- Project management experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfort with Microsoft Office suite of tools
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Creative Delivery Leads and serve as localization “project manager” in overseeing all transcreation and translation efforts related to global campaigns and/or projects.
- Provide thought leadership around global transcreation process and ensure consistency across teams requiring these services.
- Oversee partnership(s) with transcreation and/or translation partners to achieve cost efficiency and speed to market.
- Maintain awareness of global campaign roadmaps and schedules and manage transcreation and asset delivery in time for regional launches.
- Continually educate Global Creative team and other content creators across the business around best practices in designing with globalization in mind.
- Creative and maintain localization process documentation.
- Advocate for appropriate use of technology and/or software solutions both internally and with agency partners to facilitate fast and accurate transcreation and adaptation.
- Build strong, trusted partnerships with peers and key constituents across the organization.
