We are looking for an engaging and driven person to lead the Global Product Area and Management team for HVDC Control & Protection Hardware & Electrical Design who wants to grow together with their team and the company. In this role you will lead a team of HVDC Control & Protection Hardware Design Team Managers, leading teams supplying cubicle designs for HVDC projects across the globe.
You will report to Global Engineering Manager HVDC Control & Protection and be a part of the HVDC Control & Protection management team.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a positive role model for your team and beyond by living Hitachi Energy’s Leadership Pillars as a leader which means living our vision, working together, delivering promises, and developing people.
  • Manage the overall Hardware management team within HVDC Control & Protection. Drive, together with your management team, continuous improvements, find relevant KPIs, identify efficiency gains and working methods within teams to ensure methodical and predictable progress and progress reporting of HVDC Control & Protection Hardware deliveries.
  • Globally adapting and implementing HVDC Control & Protection strategic initiatives to fit your team, in order to achieve business alignment.
  • Plan team and area composition, individual development and competences needed in order to meet business needs, in alignment with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • In order to ensure quality output, you will take global ownership of developing and documenting the work processes and monitor process adherence within HVDC Control & Protection Hardware.
  • Responsibility for reporting progress, team activities and potential risks to Global Manager HVDC Control & Protection and Project Engineering Managers.
