As our new Global Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be based at our Teradyne Robotics Operations Site in Odense. The role has full budgetary responsibility for the department, and you will report into our VP Operations.
You will lead through leaders the two groups of manufacturing and test engineers, encompassing capital and process development projects, providing superior technical knowledge.
You will be responsible for providing leadership, outstanding people skills and management to a team of Production Engineers. Furthermore, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and improvement of production lines, managing contractors and ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to
Your daily work will evolve around the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Drive functional excellence of the Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, process improvement, machine availability through lean techniques and value engineering to enhance the capability of existing processes and remove waste.
- Identify and justify capital equipment investment.
- Analyze downtime, identify trends, and develop solutions.
- Ensure accuracy of Manufacturing Engineering procedures and documentation
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems (8D).
- Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization.

For you to have success in the position as our Global Manufacturing Engineering Manager, we imagine you have the following experience and skills:
- Engineering background as a electronic, machine or production engineer.Experience with DFT, LEAN & Six Sigma experience is a big advantage.A manager that goes “GEMBA” – out, see and feel the production pulse.Experience within electronic ESD & assembly manufacturing.
