Job Summary
The IFF Pharma Solutions business produces and sells high-performance cellulose derivatives, alginates and related polymers used for formulations across a broad variety of applications in the Pharmaceuticals, Food, Industrial Specialties and Personal Care markets. We are now looking for a person with passion for supply chain to join our global planning team as Global Master Planner.
In this role you will be responsible for driving SIOP process to ensure clear plans and actions are taken to demand, supply, and inventory to achieve the desired outcomes for the business. You will play a critical role in the planning team and will be the direct interface for Business Team to ensure growth plans can be executed upon and business goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supply capacity planning process to support sites and SIOP process
  • Maintains supply network configuration within SAP. Updates as necessary to account for changing assumptions, product changes or strategic decisions.
  • Create and analyzes monthly capacity plan showing planned production, projected inventories and capacity utilization.
  • Develop scenarios for medium/long term horizon to support business SIOP decision process as necessary.
  • Works closely with Operations to ensure the supply chain capabilities are in place to meet the needs of the business.
  • Proactively identifies supply issues/constraints and works with the cross-functional team to mitigate and resolve with best outcome from customer and IFF perspective.
  • Continuously refines inventory management practices (i.e. safety stock targets).
  • Develop and tracks performance measurements.
  • Coordinate and lead special projects as required. Projects may include analysis of new product introductions, asset utilization studies, supply chain cost optimization, process transfers and process changes.
  • This position will operate within a global, team-based environment and requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in operations or supply chain roles
  • Analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build strong relationships, influence and work effectively within a global team environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
  • APICS/CPF certification (or equivalent) and/or inventory management experience desirable
  • Ability to travel (up to 15%)

Preferred Experience:

  • SAP/APO/BW experience preferred
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
