Global Operations Officer

The role of Global Operations Officer at HelpAge involves supporting various operational functions to ensure the organization runs efficiently and complies with standards. The role includes managing insurance policies, supporting data protection efforts, tracking carbon reduction progress, ensuring health and safety compliance, and overseeing key training for staff. Additional responsibilities involve maintaining SharePoint systems, assisting with travel arrangements, and aiding in International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) publishing. The role also supports contract management software phaseouts and general team administration.
Key skills required include organizational abilities, experience in customer service within an international NGO, knowledge of insurance, data protection, environmental management, and proficiency with data handling and Microsoft tools (Excel, SharePoint, Office 365). A second language relevant to HelpAge operations is advantageous.
