We are looking for a strong leader to be responsible for advancing our end to end operational resiliency in payment services, working from point of interaction with clients through to market delivery. The right candidate will have a strong understanding of payment operations infrastructure and client business demands to optimize our payments model and ensure we deliver world class services and experience to our clients.

Timely and accurate delivery of payments is a critical service for our clients and for overall stability in the market. Clients rely on State Street to ensure all payments to fund investment activity or make payments to their clients are met without disruption. What you will be responsible for
- Working with cross organizational businesses and global custody operational teams, ensure there are strong end to end controls and processes to ensure timely execution of client payment instructions
- Manage protocols to identify and resolve intra-day issues for critical payment activities that are delayed or at risk
- Ensure that there are robust protocols for escalation and root cause remediation for payment delays and issues
- Work with clients to optimize payment communication, adopt best practices, and leverage new technologies to improve the flow of instructions

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- BS Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or other relevant experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably related to banking and payment services
- Strong understanding of global payment activity, end to end flows, and business impact
- Experience in client servicing support and delivery
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
