WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS ROLE?
As a Global Payroll Manager you’re responsible for overseeing and managing ICEYE’s global payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to our employees across multiple ICEYE locations. Reporting to the Global Corporate Controller, you will collaborate actively with internal stakeholders in Finance and People & Culture as well as manage the external payroll vendors.
DAILY TASKS WILL INCLUDE:
- Vendor Management
- Serving as the primary point of contact for the external payroll vendor
- Overseeing vendor performance (accuracy, timeliness, and compliance)
- Collaborating with the vendor to develop and implement the payroll process
- Setting up new locations with the vendor and implementing the payroll processes there
- Payroll Processing
- Exporting payroll data from the HR system, reviewing, validating, and delivering it to the payroll vendor
- Reviewing payroll reports and facilitating approval flow and payment processing
- Compliance and Collaboration
- Ensuring that statutory reporting and payments are processed across all locations
- Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
- Close cooperation with internal stakeholders, mainly Group Accounting, People Operations, and Treasury teams
- Liaising with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support
- Developing and improving the payroll processes and actively participating in payroll-related HRIS development
- Other tasks
- Managing the expense reimbursement process and vendors
- In-house consultant invoice management
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?
- 5+ years of experience in global payroll management in an international working environment
- Fluent verbal and written English
- University degree or other relevant educational background
- Strong knowledge of international payroll regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAttention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
