Description:

Would you like to support an increasingly agile organization with a distinct global outlook and make a difference for both current and future employees transferring between our locations? And are you motivated by shaping your own role as a Global Mobility Manager in a company on an amazing growth journey?
We are busy at GN! This means that we have an increasing number of employees transferring between our companies – we would love for you to come and join us and play a big role in making their transfer as smooth as possible.
Join the People & Culture team in GN where we support Bringing People Closer
GN is the leader in intelligent audio solutions, transforming lives through the power of sound. You will be joining our People & Culture Operations team consisting of 6 skilled, good-humored and experienced People & Culture professionals, working in different areas of People & Culture to support all of GN.
We are very attentive towards our stakeholders, and we work with the entire employee journey and have touch points across the entire company, ranging from senior management and our local departments to our leaders and other employees.
Be the internal link for employees moving between countries
As our new Global People Mobility Manager, you will be the key to making the move for our employees transferring between our companies smooth in collaboration with our Global People Mobility Assistant and working closely with the Performance & Reward team. This includes managing the overall arrangements as well as the small details, ranging from coordination with external vendors about e.g. taxation considerations or housing to health care, immigration procedures and insurance.

Besides having direct and ongoing contact with the employees “on the move”, you will act as a consultant to both People & Culture and to our various departments when we consider transferring opportunities for employees. As you will be responsible for our Global Mobility agenda, you will have direct influence on the ways we work. Specifically, you will:

  • Be the operational anchor point of Global People Mobility in People & Culture globally
  • Be the owner of global Peopl Mobility policies
  • Provide global policy consulting and guidance to People & Culture business partners, leaders and employees
  • Actively manage global People Mobility cases – including consultations, vendor coordination, cost estimations and data management
  • Partner with selected service providers to improve service levels; hence understanding the link to policy design and adjacent areas, e.g. relocation, tax and immigration
  • Provide subject matter expertise and ensure company compliance with appropriate governmental regulations/guidelines

Solid mobility experience and great interpersonal skills
With your solid understanding of mobility in an international context, you are not afraid to challenge existing procedures and processes. You have a cross-functional mindset, and you navigate with ease across our organization, interacting with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
Your work style is characterized by careful planning and a commitment to delve into the finer details, along with a determined and agile approach. You have well-developed interpersonal skills and are outgoing with a sense of humor. You are pragmatic but able to stand your ground in a collaborative manner, always seeking the solution that is best for GN.

Moreover, we imagine that you have:

  • A relevant educational degree within e.g. HR, tax or the like
  • 5+ years of experience working with mobility in an international company
  • Basic experience of employer of record setup
  • Experience with and understanding of cross-border taxation, social security and international pension setup
  • Experience within short- and long-term expatriation
  • Experience acting as a trusted advisor to the business
