Position overview
You will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with key suppliers to secure smooth procurement and payment processes. In addition, you will conduct regular process audits and assessments as to prepare and present reports on S2P performance to senior management.
You will drive the process excellence initiatives by designing the governance model and to identify and implement improvements to increase process effectiveness, productivity, and resource utilization, e.g. identify and implement technological solutions to streamline S2P processes.
Your responsibilities include
You will drive comprehensive End-to-End Process Assessments, where you will gather and evaluate data to identify areas for improvement. Your expertise in Process Mapping will be crucial in visualizing the current state of operations and designing optimized workflows that enhance efficiency.
In this role, you will develop and monitor Performance Metrics to measure the success of the Source to Pay process, using continuous improvement methodologies to drive ongoing enhancements. You will conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and implement solutions that prevent recurrence.
Change management will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, as you guide the organization through transitions in processes and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned with the new ways of working. Thorough documentation will be maintained to ensure that processes are clearly defined and easily accessible.
Additionally, you will play a vital role in Training and Education, equipping teams with the knowledge and skills needed to operate effectively within the Source to Pay process. Your strong project management abilities will ensure that initiatives are executed on time, within scope, and with the desired outcomes.
Other key aspects are:
- Setting direction of the global End-to-End processes and agree on design principles and governance using relevant performance metrics and secure that service levels are in line with SLAs and governance procedures
- Establish policies, standards, and procedures to ensure a consistent way of working and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, IT, and other relevant departments to ensure cohesive S2P operations coordinating efforts and dependencies between business processes
- Ensure seamless integration between ERP and relevant S2P supporting systems and solutions
Your team
Reporting to the Process Excellence Director, you will be part of a team of 5 working across all Nilfisk markets. We are an experienced team, where each member contributes with unique skills. We have an informal working environment with close support and interaction with our key stakeholders. In this role you can expect to have 30-40 travel days per year.
For this role, you would be based at our Budapest office where you will enjoy a multicultural and international environment.
We value the experience you bring:
Ideally, you have a master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. To succeed in this position, we expect that you have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or related fields.
You have a proven experience in a global process ownership role or similar position with extensive knowledge of S2P processes, best practices, and industry standards. Also, you bring in experience within Six Sigma, BPR, and Value Stream Mapping. In addition, you have strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. You are proficient in S2P software and tools (e.g. SAP Ariba, Medius, Concur Coupa). Since Nilfisk are a global company, you will need excellent verbal and written English skills.

What happens with your application?
We will look at your application ongoingly and contact you for a phone interview if relevant. Hereafter, if there is a mutual match, we will invite you to an interview with the hiring manager Sofia.
The 2nd interview will be with an HR representative together with the manager where the focus is on feedback on a personality assessment and aptitude test, which we ask you to complete. 3rd and final round of interview will be an informal interview with the hiring manager’s manager.
