The Global Sourcing and Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the sourcing and procurement activities within a specific business line. This role involves developing and implementing sourcing strategies, managing supplier contracts and relationships, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services, and managing the procure to pay transactions. The Sourcing and Procurement Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain and support business objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Implement Sourcing strategies through the execution and prioritization of sourcing projects aligned with Product Line and Category business goals and objectives utilizing company’s preferred system for project management.
  • Assure supplier pricing and terms are updated in ERP systems driving efficient procurement transactions.
  • Oversee the procurement process, including requisition review, purchase order issuance, order on time delivery tracking and supplier payments.
  • Communicate performance progress and results to business line stakeholders and the Supply Chain function.
  • Optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Analyse and manage procurement budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement.
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and finance teams to understand requirements and align sourcing efforts and results.
  • Develop and mentor Sourcing & Procurement team members to foster career growth, and talent pipeline development.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Have significant experience of experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably in the relevant business line.
  • Have substantial experience with cost savings and process improvements.
  • Have Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead programs/projects and ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Have the ability to build effective relationships and influence both peers and key stakeholders.
